While all of those examples are examples of ePOS systems that provide an interface for getting orders into the order queue, they are generally expensive due to the proprietary hardware they are designed to run on. I am not a fan of those systems.
There are github projects that are designed to run on generic hardware and simply need to be modified to write the data into the TI db rather than their own local db.
I would like to see a ePOS that runs as a phone app like the phone app used by many card reader hardware. Additionally, I would suggest that the developers collaborate with the various merchant service companies to incorporate their hardware into a ePOS system. That approach leaves the decision to the users for what company they wish to do business with in regards to handling credit card transactions. Furthermore, leading the industry by incorporating methods of online money transfer, like Zelle, CashApp, Venmo and more would be extremely groundbreaking. My opinion is that it would propel TI into the mainstream for users researching POS systems and provide a platform whereby a new ecosystem could be born.
