So how can extension partials be overridden by a theme now? I have a change in the previous version that was in themes/myrestaurant/ partials/localMenu/grouped.php (to turn off auto-collapse of category > 5). I don’t think I want to change extensions /igniter/local/components/menu/grouped.blade.php directly because that will get lost at the next update, but if I copy it in to themes/myrestaurant/ partials/local/components/menu/grouped.blade.php my version doesn’t get used.

Is this trying to open the admin pages? If not, open the dashboard, add the cache widget and then clear cache. Also clear browser cache.

Then navigate to the page again. Sometimes the page requires one attempt to trigger execution of that php and a second time will render the results of the code.

After numerous errors, the site suddenly started working. I don’t recall doing anything except accessing the site again or accessing the page again. Sometimes I had to delete the extension or the theme and select the option to delete the data. Then activate it again or reinstall the extension or theme. Then accessing those pages seemed to work just fine.

Can you get to the admin pages? I get a similar error with the SMS Notify extension. If you can get to the admin pages, you will have to “convert” to the new version of the Orange Theme in your child theme. The pages in v2.6 are different than the pages in 2.7. 2.7 probably should be v3 instead, due to those changes. At least that is what I am seeing. The folder structure of v2.7 is completely different than 2.6.

Special note for anyone updating to beta.24.2 and Orange Theme 2.7!

If you created and are using a child theme, you MUST open all modified pages, partials and layouts and CHANGE all code in the Markup tab! From something like <?= partial('nav/local_tabs', ['activeTab' => 'menus']); ?> to this @partial('nav/local_tabs', ['activeTab' => 'menus']).

Also after updating the orange theme, note that all component partials located within the tastyigniter-orange/_partials directory have been moved to their respective components.. ex. _partials/localSearch/default.php moved back to local/components/search/default.blade.php

sampoyigi doing it this way means we lose the ability to customise without losing the changes every time the component is updated plus all the theme files were in one location, now they are scattered.
