How to configure multiple restaurant-Locations?

In Restaurant –> Settings –> Location
I have configured a location for the restaurant, the address is recognized with correct geodata

In System –> Settings –> General –> Restaurant
I have set Location Mode: Multiple

For the life of me: I cannot find when/how I should enter a second location for a restaurant on a different location in town. In all the configuration options where there is a location drop-down, this field is greyed-out.

i.e. in Menu Items: the drop-down option is greyed out.

I searched extensively in my Admin-Panel, also on this forum and even spent several google-searches.

Can someone please nudge me in the right direction? I would be very grateful!

igor After changing the site to multiple go to

Admin -> Restaurant -> Locations

There you will see the locations as a list, click “New” to create a new location.

If you can’t see it, logoff and login.

Does the current version offer multiple location capability? If so, can you please tell me how to enables this? The steps provided above: System –> Settings –> General –> Restaurant does not lead to Location Mode: Multiple

Where do we set up multiple location mode?

mcglinn The multiple location mode setting was moved to the config config/system.php file under locationMode

sampoyigi I see something like this

‘locationMode’ => env(‘IGNITER_LOCATION_MODE’, ‘multiple’),

but multiple restaurants mode still doesn’t work :-(

phurich What do you mean by it doesn’t work? You should be able to add more locations under “Restaurant -> Locations”.

phurich Check the value of IGNITER_LOCATION_MODE is multiple in your .env file

ryanmitchell Nope, In 3.0.7 when you choose “Restaurant -> Locations”, it goes directly to the default location edit page. So, I can’t create a new location.
