Hi guys.
after almost 150h of installing and testing and playing around with my TI install under my
“www.testing.com/folder”
on the server I decided to play around with deploying and migrating to a possible real world server with real domain. I downlaoded the entire TI testing evironment & database. Changed every entry with the old testing domain into the new one. Created a new database & imported the database. As soon as I enter the new domain I do indeed reach the proper index.php everyting looks OK.
But apart from this non of the links work. Get 404 all the time. So there must be something still wrong with the paths I guess. After doing some resaerch I found a temporary solution: Everything is there including the databse files & data except I now have to manually enter
(www.newsite,com)INDEX.PHP/locations to reach all the links.
So I guess I somewehre messed up with the path & folder structure I guess.
How did I mess up with this that all links are now available only if I manually ADD /index.php/ in between the domain?
Can someone please give me a hint or solution or any kind of kick into the right direction how to solve this?
BTW: I already looked up for a “how-to-migrate-TI” but it looks like it s still a stub. I would appreaciate any kind of help on this. Don’t want my 150h going down the river for a new install. Thanks in advance guys…
