You need to clear your cache using the composer command in the update notes. That should resolve this

Also manually delete php files inside storage folder. Service in particular. You can also run php artisan optimize:clear trogh SSH from main folder of your tasty installation

Thanks… I should have scrolled around the discussions a bit more, found others with the same issue. When trying what you’ve suggested, I received “Could not open input file: artisan” I can also delete the files, but is that all that I need to do? Isn’t that sort of, an incomplete installation?

Also, checking the error suggested running “composter install” but I received this message: sh: 0: getcwd() failed: No such file or directory Composer could not find a composer.json file in To initialize a project, please create a composer.json file as described in the https://getcomposer.org/ “Getting Started” section

Deleted the files suggested in the comments of another thread… now I have this:

goldenoriental it’s difficult because you are upgrading between beta versions and the code base is changing. Beta versions are just that - they should not be expected to be stable!

We are very close to a settled version 3 after which upgrades between stable versions will cause less issues.

Is there anything that I can do to update my current installation? To be honest, I didn’t want to be involved in the beta, but the download from the site is the only option available. This is intended as a production site, not a development site and it should be stable / upgradable.

If there’s any “fix”, please let me know. I’ve exhausted all options and close to just drawing a line under this platform and moving on.

Make sure you’re using the latest versions of all plugins - looks like there is a compatibility mismatch.

I assume you’re using beta26? If so use the latest cart version

I’m not using the latest plugins, because the plugins need updating and there’s only a single “update” button which updates everything at once…

Your cart plugin is incompatible with the beta version, id imagine local extension will also be incompatible. Both need upgraded.

You can tick and ignore all but the ones you want to update.

The last one is you need to clear your browser cache to get the latest styles.
Im not sure how to guid you through the update error - if you can run the command line update it might work better.

Hi, tried that.. the login button doesn’t work or anything… as for CLI update, as mentioned before, it throws the following error: “Could not open input file: artisan”

May I offer a suggestion:
1 - before updating, disable all extensions.
2 - update the core (TastyIgniter).
3 - navigate to your extensions list and remove all the extensions that are showing as Unknown.
4 - install the extensions from the Updates / Browse Extensions button (all the white colored extensions are not installed, click on them to install them).
5 - navigate to Design / Themes and delete any themes that are not showing a good thumbnail
6 - install the latest Orange Theme from the Browse more themes button.
7 - report back here how that worked.

Hey… I’ve already done that as mentioned above.. as soon as the core gets updated.. I get that blue login screen and I cannot login at all. The only way to fix it is to re-extract the original (backed up) archive over the top of the broken update… but then nothing is updated.
