Price and total error when printing

printer not printing the whole price, and whole total it keeps removing any first number from each item of the receipt and printing from second position in the price or total.

I suspect the issue is that your currency requires more than the 7 characters allocated for prices… lines like {{ str_pad($menu['menu_price'], 7, ' ', STR_PAD_LEFT) }} just need updated with the 7 changed to however many you need, and to keep things right take the same amount off the 11 figures in variables that have STR_PAD_RIGHT in them.

Hi Thanks for your reply, I am in the UK we use pounds and I have changed it from 8 to 7 and it does not work and I tried change it to 9 still not showing the first number in the price and total price.

Yep I got it thanks.

I think its because the pound symbol is missing from your codepage and its stopping the next character from printing. You need to make sure you are using the code page that corresponds to windows-1252 - check your manual to find it.

I would also reduce the number of characters per line in the pinter settings as there are too many - maybe 42 or even 40 - that should stop the lines wrapping.

That’s the docket - what you need is to ensure the encoding and codepage settings are correct for your printer. There will be a codepage that has the point symbol and it needs to be entered in the settings in IT and whatever encoding it is also needs to be set
