foreign key constraint fails `tastyigniter_db`.`ti_igniter_automation_logs`

Hello everyone,
I am getting this error when checking out:
PDOException: SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1452 Cannot add or update a child row: a foreign key constraint fails (tastyigniter_db.ti_igniter_automation_logs, CONSTRAINTti_igniter_automation_logs_rule_action_id_foreignFOREIGN KEY (rule_action_id) REFERENCESti_igniter_automation_rule_actions()
in /var/www/html/vendor/doctrine/dbal/lib/Doctrine/DBAL/Driver/PDOStatement.php:117`
all the extensions are updated as well.
Any way to fix this?

abdulrazak-zakieh Go to Phpmyadmin and run this in SQL

ALTER TABLE ti_order_menus DROP FOREIGN KEY ti_order_menus_menu_id_foreign;

it was good with me, i had same errror.

Thanks for your response.
This command will delete the relationship and as a result will not get the error. It is better to know what causes the error and fix that.

abdulrazak-zakieh Installation with Installer is not possible anymore with V3.2. When you choose with Demo Data and predefined theme, it is coming always error. WIthout this option, it is possible to install and uptate, but not possible to add items, not possible to make check out etc…

Only prefessional can resolve this issue!

Hi all,
The error has nothing to do with Demo Data or predefined theme. I have the same problem with MySQL 10.4.24 and PHP 7.4.29. I’m still investigating.

Hi, for continue I deleted temporary both contraint:

ALTER TABLE ti_menu_categories DROP FOREIGN KEY ti_menu_categories_menu_id_foreign;
ALTER TABLE ti_menus_specials DROP FOREIGN KEY ti_menus_specials_menu_id_foreign;
