New install View menu does not work on locolhost but works on liveserver

Hi All, I installed TI on localhost wampserver and on a live website using the downloaded setup.

On my local version when i click the View Menu it just refreshes the home page but on the live server it redirects to the correct page.

I have enabled RewriteBase / in the .htaccess file but still have the issue. I can access View Menu page if i got into the reservation page and then click View Menu but then the category pages still dont work and redirects to localhost(homepage).

Hi, please enable mod_rewrite in your wampserver:

Open httpd.conf in C:\wamp\bin\apache\Apache2.2.11\conf
Enable mod_rewrite Uncomment it by removing # at its beginning
from:
#LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so
to:
LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so

mmmm maybe in the same file you find all occurrences of

AllowOverride None

and change them to

AllowOverride All
