Hi Sam, is it possible to apply the gift cards to the total amount instead of the subtotal in the cart? We have been receiving complaints about this, and I agree with my customers that when using a gift card, it should deduct from the total amount rather than the subtotal.

When using a coupon, it is indeed better to apply it to the subtotal.

diverd The order in which cart totals are calculated is determined by how the cart totals are prioritized under System > Settings > Cart Settings. In your case you want the giftup cart condition to be the last on the list.

When I move “gift up” to the last position, the other expenses such as delivery costs and transaction fees still need to be paid.
