Import products from CSV or Excel

Is there a good way to import product data into TastyIgniter from either CSV or Excel?
I tried installing the following plugin by cloning it to my extensions dir:

However it immediately gives a 500 error page with the following exception in the logs:

Is there something i’m doing wrong here or is there another way to accomplish this?

dalu Looks like you’ve placed the extension in the wrong folder. It should be extensions/igniterlabs/importexport/Extension.php

ryanmitchell I’ve done some work on it since then, but development has slowed because I don’t have any use for it, but it is still actively maintained and recently received some PRs so seems it is being used as well 😉.

That extension is quite outdated and was never completed. Its the sort of extension we are hoping someone from the community will contribute rather than it coming from the core team.

Awesome, thank you so much for the clue! 🙂
I moved the extension to the correct directory and was able to use it after running composer install.

I just still have an issue where the modal isn’t showing if i click the import or export button but i saw that a network request is being done and it returns the HTML of the form.
After manually adding that to the DOM i can do both the import and export.

For the import i still need to figure out how to couple the imported menu items to a category but that is of less importance to me.
