ryanmitchell A little more humility wouldn’t go amiss here. I’m not making unreasonable demands. I’m testing this software for a client and need to get answers to some questions. You appear to work under the assumption that everyone who installs Tastyigniter is as knowledgeable about it and the platform used to create it as the developers. The real world doesn’t work like this. We all have different roles and you’ve taken on one which needs some empathy. So far I’ve obliged the requests you’ve made by reporting bugs like you’ve asked me to. One thing I don’t think I need to do is start using another social media platform when this one here claims to be the place for the community to get together and answer questions. You have chosen the position you are in and you should be a bit more thoughtful when dealing with the people who are, essentially, bug hunting - also without pay. Your truculence and passive aggressive behaviour such as that displayed with ideasgirl isn’t impressive.
As far as I’m concerned, I really like the software but I’ve not been very successfull in analysing why it’s so flaky for me. Since my last message here, I’ve paid for both shared hosting and then a VPS hosting. The VPS just didn’t work properly as a fresh install either. I had the same issues I have now including some extra ones with Reviews I didn’t have before. At least this helps rule out the hardware I’m using as being a root cause. The shared hosting didn’t work in any form - good or bad. I used the cpanel to install it and after install it just said, no prizes here, ERROR 500. So, after some considerable cost I have to genuinely admit defeat and move on to something else.
I know I have a couple of other messages to answer so I’ll do those and keep an eye on how this application develops.
