Database seems broken - recreate possible?

Hello,
it could be that my TI-database is broken - or is not consistent anymore. Ive noticed spooky things. Is it possible to recreate the database? I assume that the last updates were interrupted and so there is some jumbled.
Has anyone any idea?

You can remove all the tables in the database and run php artisan igniter:up Yo give yourself a fresh database. But that will wipe all data.

hmmm … what is the benefit running php artisan igniter:up when all data are lost? I assume all the configurations and tunings (language, css, ..) are stored in the database, right? Would be a fresh install the better option?

gnulf yea most settings are stored in the database so would be lost. You could do a fresh install if you wanted to.
