Group order module

Hi guys, You know what we need, the demand is there, a group order function/option for customers front end and restaurant owner backend. module. this is a great module for both single restaurant owners and multi vendor platform, what do you guys think ?

GaryBrighton it would be an interesting extension… we have to coordinate it to work with the Tastyigniter core, I have even thought about it for the theme I will be working on in the next few days but it will take me some time to program it.

Hi sam, hope your good, well lets keep this simple:

What is a Group Order and how can I create one?
A group order allows multiple people to add their individual items into a collective order cart at the same time. Once a Group Order is created through your tastyignitor/website Account, the rest of your group doesn’t need to have a Account to use the group order link. And you can pre-order up to 24 hours in advance, which makes for easy group meal planning.

Log into your tastyignitor/website account.
Choose your restaurant.
Tap the Group Order button on the restaurant page.
Send the Group Order link to others. (Url link or qr generated code)
When everyone is done adding their items into the cart, you can close the Group Order and complete checkout.

The group order link should allow group member to add menu items and *make payment to amount of there menu items.

** optional as some the group may only be kids and maybes dont have a debit/payment account to make payment

GaryBrighton Definitely in line with what we have planned. We also have the option for the host to pay the total amount or split it between guests.

This platform has so much potential. I have BIG plans with TI across various projects. Font end web TI and backend TI, for both ios and android, will use TI backend for datasets and deploy an #Ai assistant front end. this offers offers a great novel UX for customers , I hope to work with you on my projects once we in a position to.

I have tried regarding my project, was regarding hacking your reservation functions to my requirements , sent to tasty labs I am happy to discuss in detail my vision (Is a biggy) using TI.
