So, this is what im thinking, imagine for one moment your tastyignitor website menu and ordering, displayed by Ai, instead of typing your order and making payment , is all handled by Ai. voice orientated. Can we do this for both ios and android apps ? I think so. just wondering what you guys think, come on guys, is next level stuff. Customers and vendors would love this. From what im aware of, to operate a site using Ai, you need an api, tasty has its very own api correct ? Your thoughts please ? i plan to use Ai for my tasty project/s, both multi vendor projects. I will post site links once the development is complete.

I use it’s benefits in various applications but the vibe I get is that it’s a long way off this fantasy land idea where we use our voice for all these different things and it works wonderfully well. Doubt it will appear as a great success in Tastyigniter first. There are a great deal of hurdles to overcome.
How do you scroll through a menu and browse to see what you want with AI? Is it much quicker and more convenient to ask it to tell you what’s available, what add ons there are etc etc? Wait for it to read it out?
Not everyone orders precisely the same food every single time from the same place.

Payments - do we simply not bother with security like last three digits of card or biometrics?

Let’s get real it won’t be Tasyigniter who pioneer AI in web ordering first. I imagine if you try to implement such a thing it will be an over engineered solution to a non-existent problem. You’re not even replacing something which a human gets paid to do so really what is the point?

It’s so quick and easy to order using your smart phone so unless you’re disabled or something then fair enough but otherwise I really don’t see what value AI would add either to the user or the takeaway business?

You and I dont think the same. Current #Ai plugins offer video assistants and payment methods using datasets from tastyignitor. How do you scroll through a menu and browse to see what you want with AI??? Are you for real ? Instead of current boring typing interface, AI can offer video assistants that work using voice prompts , they offer an amazing UX for both user and vendor. Welcome to 2023 my friend.Sorry if you think im being rude, is mot my intention, i just cant believe your replies. A lot of thunder but very little rain ! And bare in mind im . You think all the major players have jumped onboard AI for food ordering as is a fantasy ?

GaryBrighton 😂 I think my approach is different in that I recognise there will be benefits of AI as the technology improves, only I would only use it where there is a clear advantage. I think you are just wanting to use AI for the sake of using AI.

Rather than being stuck in the 90’s, as you keep asserting I am throughout this forum, I am just being realistic.
I don’t want to interact with AI when am ordering food. I want to discuss it with my partner/family while browsing the menu. I don’t want any AI to be involved too heavily in that experience. I question who does. Maybe some gamer-obsessive who is strapped into his gaming chair with his AI headset on. Both hands too busy on the joysticks playing some crazy video game so he can’t order his food like a normal person. Maybe that’s who you are and thus I am unable to relate to how you imagine customers ordering food in the real world 😂.

I think you will waste your time obsessing over AI for TI at this time.

martin352 When ive not consumed so much red bull, i will reply more comprehensively , in detail why AI and food ordering is the way forward. From demographics and user/customer UX and will detail why AI food ordering is no longer considered a novel concept. and more important why the TI stack is perfect to deploy Ai. now i try and sleep.
