Text for required fields is not displayed at checkout

I have the problem that the text for the required fields is not displayed during checkout. If the user has not made all the required entries, the page is simply reloaded without displaying the validation texts.
Is this a setting or is there a problem with my app ?

A quick test of the demo shows the text below the input fields as expected

Please help me with my problem

ronny273 You can enable fields from Design > Themes > _pages > checkout > Checkout Component

Hi, thanks for the hint. But my problem is that the validation texts are not displayed below the text fields.
Attached is a screenshot from the demo where these texts are displayed. (yellow marking)
