Curious: Can Generative AI Help with Restaurant Systems?

I’ve been working on a small food delivery setup using TastyIgniter, and I recently started reading more about AI, especially how it’s evolving in tech. I came across a list of Generative AI interview questions , and it got me thinking..could generative AI actually be used in the restaurant or food delivery space?

I mean, beyond chatbots, could it help write menu descriptions, automate order responses, or even optimize delivery routes based on previous data? I’m not super technical, but I find this stuff fascinating and was wondering if anyone here has tried experimenting with AI tools alongside TastyIgniter?

Also, are there any plugins or integrations people are using with AI to boost customer experience or streamline operations? Would love to hear your thoughts, even if it’s just a “what if” idea.

Of course. AI can be used to do a lot of things and also significantly increase user experience such as:

Instead of the customer following the usual route of clicking on stuffs, an AI chat / voice could be integrated to take customer orders, offer assistance and recommend dishes.
Provide personalized recommendations based on user’s past orders.
Display / update menus based on demand, seasons etc
Adjust pricing and provide discount to peak and off-peak times even for recurring/consistent users.
You could even use AI to do marketing to pull back customers that have not ordered for a while.

There are a lot of things you could do with AI on food delivery app like Tastyigniter.
