Sam,
The developer phase for writing an api for the Intuit Payment Gateway is here: https://developer.intuit.com/app/developer/homepage
Is it difficult to write an extension for TI? What kind of time are we looking at to that to occur?

Can I simply copy one of the other payment gateways and modify it to target the new API Destination?
@sampoyigi Can you unarchive this and perhaps consider it for v3?
Let me know what it costs besides the 25/mo I am already paying?
Yes, you have to click on the Quickbooks Online dropdown to see Quickbooks Payments. However, don’t waste your time. Quickbooks ecommerce rates are 3.5% + $0.30.
1.9% if you use their equipment and software? How much is that monthly?
Yay! Sam is working on a POS extension! That is great! Is it an extension to import data from existing POS systems or is it a POS for TI?
IC…..too bad. That approach requires purchasing software and monthly subscription or support. Not something I am a fan of and likely will not add another layer to the maintenance schedule.
Additionally, don’t those systems offer the same functionality as TI and if I had Square or another POS wouldn’t it be my restaurant management application?
roydeanjr Yea the approach is mostly for the hardware benefits and users who already use these systems but are looking to offer online ordering to their customers or some TastyIgniter feature that isn’t available their POS.
I sure love the idea of POS for TI with branded TI hardware but that’s something for the near future which will bring TI closer to a complete restaurant management system.
I’m sorry it’s taken this long to get back to you
roydeanjr 1.9% per trans for online payments. Here is the table of fees.
If you use my referral link we both get free processing on up to £1,000 in sales during their first 180 days
sampoyigi No I don’t use Square POS. Ask anything and I will try to help.
