I have a working print extension for thermal printers (USB or IP) and am looking for 2 or 3 beta testers to check it works as expected in their environments. Please only volunteer if you are prepared to give detailed feedback, and participate in screenshares where necessary to diagnose issues.

Users must be on the latest beta (3.0.4-beta.22) and ideally not using Epson printers as I’ve tested on those already.

We only have epson for kitchen and bar, would be great if this extension becomes real as now bit clumsy in providing them with order alerts as no screens thus manually putting it in self-hosted pos. Obviously pos intergration would even be better but we do not use a cloud one as internet extremely poor and also far too expensive.

      what pos do you use as we may already have integrated with it (I’ve done quite a few!)

          Is a very old one but allows use of tablets on local wifi, it’s called Wintabby

            ryanmitchell No problem as mentioned works for our particular situation as local server wifi works very quick compared to depending on internet connections, but it is not widely used. Tastyigniter obviously requires internet connection so we have it on but do not use it for the POS.

                I am setting up a tastyigniter plattform as a replacement to my previous Wordpress setup. I work constantly with Google Cloud Print (doing 1000 orders /receipts a day) and would love to be considered a beta tester! I work with multiple printers (EPSON, STAR, and generic clones) so would be able to provide valuable info!
