GaryBrighton itās an excellent looking theme. Given your enthusiasm for it Iād have expected you to make a purchase. But as itās showing still as zero installs then I am assuming that you have not.
I feel sorry for the author as they clearly put some effort into that. And perhaps the assumption being that it is the only premium theme available, there would be a monopolistic advantage. So maybe there is some disappointment thus far. I just added my suggestions but of course, maybe there will be a large number of people just around the corner waiting to buy it. So sit tight.
I donāt think there is too much wrong with the aesthetics of the default theme. Just some of the usability and speed is an issue for me. But Iāve been looking into it and donāt think it would be too difficult to resolve as you suggest. Right now I donāt need to as I use a different solution in production which continues to meet my needs slightly better.
Iām afraid my focus would be optimising usability and speed of ordering, before getting too excited about graphics and so-on.
Thereās nothing 90ās about it. Go check a handful of popular alternative apps and see how much quicker it is just to browse the menu and add items to your basket. These are the things people are concerned about as they determine whether people use your app or another one which is easier, faster and more convenient. The colour or shape of a button isnāt going to make much difference.
